My
first mod, was to change the exhaust to a tailored one from
midland performance,
secondly a powertek induction kit was fitted followed by a bleed
valve to adjust boost.
This has to be done with care as the newer vitesse sport doesn't
have mahrle pistons, mine does! So it boosts at 14 psi, it also
has a boost gauge, essential for this mod.
I have also lowered it 40mm and put 17" alloys on as well
as front splitters and working vents, she gives out 247bhp on
the rolling road, not bad for an old girl. The only real problem
Ihave come across are those damn expansion bottles they go fairly
regular.
I have owned six Rover v8s two 820 turbos and two 800 V6s, and
all of them were great cars I love the V8 vitesse and would
be tempted by a good one. Great
